I have officialy been informed that I have passed all my assignments and that I am about 37.5 hours of clinical practice away from gaining my pin!
On the bad side, I might have had a change of heart with regards to my careers path.
I was what you could call a bit ill informed when I chose to pursue a career in nursing. If ever I hear the words "assistance with ADls" once more I will do something so uncharacteristic, I will have no choice but to be sectioned immediately.
A bit drastic you may think, totally acceptable I say.
What I'd like to do is work for somwhere I'd have fun and not hate waking up for day in day out. I suppose I'm a bit too old for a careers change now. (turned 22 july the 1st)
I'll have to find an MSc I might enjoy after a years of work and work in that field. Information Science sounds interesting.

Dahab, you are nowhere near old. In fact, you could remain where you are for another 15 years and still be in a very good place for a different career.
I understand what you mean, though, about working somewhere that doesn't turn you inside out everyday. Life is too damn short.
